Overview

At PwC, our people in data and analytics focus on leveraging data to drive insights and make informed business decisions. In data analysis at PwC, you will focus on utilising advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and maintains reliable and scalable data infrastructure
• Writes, deploys, and maintains software to build, integrate, manage, maintain, and quality-assure data
• Develops and delivers large-scale data ingestion, data processing, and data transformation projects on the Azure cloud
• Mentors and shares knowledge with the team
• Works with customers to deploy, manage, and audit standard processes for cloud products
• Adheres to software & data engineering standard practices (unit testing, monitoring, source control)
• Deploys secure and well-tested software meeting privacy and compliance requirements
• Manages CI/CD pipelines, service reliability, and site-reliability engineering standards
• Works in a Scrum/Agile setup with cross-disciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems or other quantitative fields
• 6-9 years of relevant experience building scalable data infrastructure and data products
• Deep experience with Spark (batch and/or real-time), Databricks, ADF, SQL/Pyspark/Python on Azure

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DB, Synapse, SQL Pools, Databricks
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines
• Certifications in cloud technologies are preferred

Education

• Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering, MBA (Master of Business Administration)
• Minimum 60% in education required
