Job description
Overview
Lead the design and evolution of an enterprise ontology within a semantic data platform. Work at the intersection of business, data engineering, and product teams to ensure operational concepts are digitally modeled and actively used in applications, analytics, and automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve a business-driven ontology representing processes, assets, events, and relationships
- Partner with product and platform teams to create reusable semantic models
- Translate domain knowledge into structured, maintainable ontology frameworks
- Align data pipelines with ontology semantics and guide data mapping and enrichment
- Establish governance principles and coach teams on safe ontology usage
- Ensure ontology adoption across workflows, applications, and analytics
Qualifications
- Strong experience in data modeling, semantic modeling, or ontology design
- Hands-on experience with enterprise semantic platforms
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams
- Experience in iterative, product-led environments
Nice to have
- Experience in data engineering or analytics environments
- Familiarity with metadata, lineage, and governance concepts
