Overview
Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer (GCP)
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataproc.
- Integrate data sources via APIs, Airbyte, and streaming platforms.
- Model schemas and design curated datasets in BigQuery for BI and analytics teams.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence (BI) and Digital Transformation Analytics (DTA) teams to provide clean, trusted datasets.
- Implement CI/CD using Jenkins and Bitbucket.
- Ensure security and governance (IAM, encryption, HIPAA compliance).
- 3+ years in data engineering with GCP experience.
- Strong Python and SQL.
- Hands-on with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataproc.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of data formats (Parquet, Avro, JSON, Delta Lake).
- Familiarity with vector search or graph analytics.
- Healthcare data experience (HL7, FHIR).
