Responsibilities

• Lead the development of complex frontend features using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Drive improvements in UI architecture, application performance, and user experience.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate on backend-for-frontend (BFF) and API-layer modifications to support frontend functionality. Code Quality & Best Practices Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with engineering standards.
• Lead code reviews and promote consistent application of coding best practices. Establish and advocate standards for component design, state management, and frontend architecture. Improve application test coverage, performance, and accessibility.
• Develop expertise in frontend architecture, performance optimization, and large-scale application design.
• Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to define frontend solutions, API contracts, and integration approaches.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and support their professional development. Communicate technical decisions, trade-offs, and risks effectively to stakeholders.
• Drive improvements in monitoring, logging, and frontend performance tracking.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in production environments.
• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and component-driven development.
• Strong understanding of browser internals, rendering behavior, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with modern frontend tooling and build systems.
• ~ Working knowledge of backend concepts, including:

• Exposure to frontend observability and performance monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and implementation best practices.
• Hands-on experience building lightweight API layers, backend-for-frontend (BFF) patterns, or service integration layers.
