Job Description
Software Engineer - Java Full Stack Developer at DTCC, a global financial markets infrastructure provider.

- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
- Develop applications in compliance with functional and non-functional requirements
- Follow design and code standards, contributing to continuous improvement discussions.
- Create and maintain system documentation
- Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
- Contribute to the design of components or individual programs
- Provide production support for applications as needed
- Work with subject matter experts reviewing technical designs and specifications
- Apply different software development methodologies dependent on project needs
- Work with peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development
- Building Angular-based UI applications with seamless front-end to back-end API integration
- Proficiency in JavaScript, and core Java development using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
- Skilled in implementing automated unit testing across both front-end and back-end components
- Experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and similar UI frameworks (jQuery, React, Angular)
- Exposure to XML/XSD, JSON and/or similar data presentation components
- Familiarity with Microservices based architecture and distributed systems
- Ability to develop and work with REST APIs using Spring Boot framework
- Experience with CI/CD technologies like GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube and Maven
- Strong database and PL/SQL skills (Postgres preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology
- Communicates openly keeping everyone across the organization informed
- Experience working with Agile teams (preferably scrum)
- Experience in the financial services industry is good to have
