Job Description
Technical Lead responsible for leading a team of 4–6 developers to design, implement, test, and support enterprise applications using .NET, modern frontend frameworks, and SQL. Requires strong full-stack development expertise and strategic leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Actively utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent.
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using .NET and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js / React / Angular) with SQL Server.
- Build scalable applications and deploy them on Azure App Services.
- Write clean, secure, maintainable, and testable code using industry best practices.
- Lead and manage a team, including career development, 1:1s, hiring, and performance management.
- Own and deliver product and technical roadmaps.
- Ensure adherence to architectural best practices, including Well-Architected Framework pillars with a strong emphasis on security.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to design and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Evaluate business requirements, define problems, and develop appropriate technical solutions.
- Follow and enforce company software development standards and best practices.
- Prepare technical design documents and specifications.
- Estimate development efforts based on business priorities and constraints.
- Review, refactor, and improve code quality using tools such as Sonar Qube.
- Document development processes and operational procedures.
- Validate implementations (self and team) to ensure they meet requirements and design standards.
- Mentor, coach, and support junior engineers.
- Continuously evolve engineering practices and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
- Provide on-call support asrequired.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 12–16 years of professional experience across the full software development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment).
- Strong experience in .NET / C#.
- Frontend frameworks: Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- AI Code Gen Tools.
- SQL Server.
- Azure App Services.
- Familiarity with Design patterns and architectural principles (MVC, Dependency Injection, RESTful APIs, Microservices).
- Power BI, SSRS, SSIS.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with Agile (Scrum) methodologies.
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.
- Experience with SSIS / SSRS migration or maintenance is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience with Power BI, SSRS, SSIS.
- Familiarity with ETL processes.
- Experience working in hybrid environments in India/US collaboration.
- Comfortable with occasional evening and weekend work during emergencies or client needs.
