Job Description
This role requires a strong .NET Full-Stack Engineer who can design, build, and operate scalable cloud-native applications while contributing across architecture, development, testing, and mentoring. Design and build highly scalable microservices using .NET Core, C#, and cloud-native architecture principles.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and tune database components, including SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, indexing strategies, and queries.
- Work extensively with PostgreSQL as a mandatory database, along with SQL Server or Cosmos DB based on project needs.
- Design and implement robust RESTful APIs, including JSON request and response mapping, validations, and API contracts.
- Apply cloud best practices for deployment, scaling, monitoring, logging, and configuration management across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Implement automated unit and integration tests to ensure reliability across microservices.
- Contribute to containerization using Docker and deployments on Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex distributed systems using logs, metrics, and tracing to improve performance and reliability.
- Participate in architecture discussions, perform code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

- Backend (Mandatory): Strong expertise in .NET Core, C#, REST APIs, and cloud integrations.
- Frontend: Experience with Angular, React, or Blazor.
- Architecture: Exposure to Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture principles.
- Domain Experience: Experience working in healthcare is preferred.
- Serverless: Familiarity with Azure Functions or AWS Lambda.
- Cloud Platforms (Mandatory): Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP for application deployment and operations.
- Databases: Strong experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB.
- Event-Driven Systems: Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Testing: Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit, mocking frameworks like Moq, and API testing tools.
- Cloud-Native and DevOps: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- APIs: Proven experience designing, implementing, and consuming scalable RESTful APIs.
- Prior experience leading modules and driving technical decisions.
- Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and frameworks such as LangChain.
- Hands-on experience using AI productivity tools such as Copilot and vibe coding workflows.
- Proven ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and drive innovation aligned with business needs.
- Ability to work independently with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Master’s or PhD in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Research, Biotechnology, Translational Medicine, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in program or project management within healthcare, life sciences, BioPharma, or biomedical research environments.
- Strong understanding of biomedical data ecosystems, including EHRs, claims data, registries, clinical outcomes, and observational research data.
- Familiarity with biomedical ontologies and standards such as SNOMED CT, ICD, MedDRA, LOINC, or semantic data modeling frameworks.
- Working knowledge of clinical research workflows, translational research, pharmacovigilance, patient journey analysis, or evidence generation processes.
- Proven ability to manage large cross-functional teams and coordinate delivery across technical and scientific stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and client engagement capabilities, particularly with global BioPharma organizations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and program governance skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving project environments with high accountability and ownership.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack
- Experience with security best practices, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and API security
- Prior experience leading modules and driving technical decisions
- Experience with chatbot technologies such as AWS Lex or Google Dialogflow
- Experience with Pandas for data manipulation and analysis
- Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and frameworks such as LangChain
- Experience building AI solutions using tools and frameworks such as AI agents, CrewAI, LangChain, LangGraph, Generative AI, and agentic AI
- Hands-on experience using AI productivity tools such as Copilot and vibe coding workflows
