Job Description
BMC is seeking an Experienced Full Stack Developer to join the User Experience (UX) team. The role involves developing and maintaining SaaS web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React/Angular, etc., ensuring seamless user experiences and collaborate with UI/UX designers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SaaS web applications
- Ensure applications are responsive and provide excellent cross-device user experience
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing applications
- Utilize Kubernetes and containerization tools for microservices deployment, scaling, and management
- Design and optimize databases for efficient data storage and retrieval in a microservices environment
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging for high-quality software
- Use version control systems (Git) to manage codebase and collaborate effectively
- Work agile within a Scrum team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality features
- Foster effective collaboration with other teams for joint feature development
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, preferably in enterprise software companies
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex microservices-based applications
- Experience in Java (including Spring Boot framework)
- Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- In-depth proficiency in modern frameworks like React & Angular
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and ability to design efficient database schemas for microservices applications
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex technical challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have
- Experience working in enterprise software companies
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and continuous integration/deployment pipelines
- Knowledge of Grafana and BMC Suite applications
