Job Description
Senior Java Full Stack Engineer needed to join an innovative team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The role involves developing digital solutions for clients, collaborating with stakeholders, and leading development teams.
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements
- Develop, test and deploy APIs
- Write tested, idiomatic, and documented Java code
- Work on UI using AngularJS
- Cooperate with front-end developers in integrating RESTful APIs
- Communicate with external web services producing, maintaining, and modifying REST APIs
- Ensure APIs are developed using industry standard best practices
- Fix issues or bugs that arise
- Independently design within a defined architecture
- Provide input to the architecture
- Understand different architectural views (conceptual, logical, physical, deployment)
- Review code assuring Definition of Done, coding standards, and good design principles
- Develop talent at all levels of developer
- Set an example of a professional developer
- Coach and teach usage of Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and Architectural Patterns
- Perform written performance reviews for team
- Hold regular one on ones with team members
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience developing Java code
- 8+ years of experience in object-oriented design development
- 8+ years of experience developing Spring frameworks
- 6+ years of experience with Angular and Typescript
- 2+ years working with either AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud
- 2+ years of experience in middleware packages like Web Logic, WebSphere, or JBoss
- 1+ years of experience leading development team
Nice to have
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Rest or Soap API development
- Experience with other frameworks like Spring Boot, MVC, or Hibernate
- Experience implementing Java EE specifications including Java Servlet, JSP, Java EL, and WebSocket
