Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior MERN Stack Developer with strong backend and frontend expertise and prior experience leading small engineering teams. The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on experience with React, Node.js, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, along with exposure to modern infrastructure tools like Apache, Kafka, Docker, and strong collaboration workflows using GitHub and JIRA.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for a highly skilled Senior MERN Stack Developer with strong backend and frontend expertise and prior experience leading small engineering teams. The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on experience with React, Node.js, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL, along with exposure to modern infrastructure tools like Apache, Kafka, Docker, and strong collaboration workflows using GitHub and JIRA.
- This role requires ownership mindset, technical leadership capability, and the ability to guide a team of developers toward scalable and high-performance solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack
- Lead a team of 4–5 developers, providing technical direction and mentorship
- Architect robust backend services using Node.js
- Build performant frontend interfaces using React.js
- Work with both MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases efficiently
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker containers
- Configure and maintain application environments using Apache
- Work with event-driven or streaming architecture using Kafka
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using GitHub and JIRA
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions
Qualifications
- 6–7 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development
- Strong expertise in:
- React.js
- Node.js
- Express.js
- MongoDB
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of Apache server configuration
- Exposure to Kafka-based architectures
- Strong proficiency in GitHub workflows
- Proven experience leading a team of minimum 4–5 developers
- Strong understanding of:
- REST APIs
- authentication & authorization
- scalable architecture patterns
- performance optimization
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong ownership mindset
- Leadership capability with hands-on coding strength
