Job Description
Navitas is seeking an innovative, and high-performing Senior Full-Stack WordPress Web Developer with significant front-end development experience, expertise in custom WordPress theme and plugin development, and advanced English language skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the Navitas Europe College websites
- Build and maintain front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Provide technical expertise and support ensuring all development work adheres to industry standards
- Collaborate with global business stakeholders, marketing teams, and web development teams to deliver effective digital solutions
- Communicate website enhancements, updates, and changes to Navitas staff using established workflow and project management tools
- Analyse, document, and improve processes and workflows to support efficient project delivery and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in front-end development, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in back-end development using PHP and MySQL.
- Extensive experience in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
- 5–7 years of full-time professional experience in a Web Development role.
- Proven experience optimizing websites for search performance, SEO, and AIO.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of version control systems (Git) and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with global business stakeholders, marketing teams, and web development teams to deliver effective digital solutions.
