Job Description
Fulltrack AI is an American startup revolutionizing sports technology through AI and Computer Vision. This role owns backend feature development and system reliability, building scalable APIs, data models, and cloud infrastructure that support real-time product experiences.
Responsibilities
- Backend Engineering
- 1 Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.
- 2 Design and optimise MongoDB schemas for product and telemetry workloads.
- 3 Develop and maintain RESTful APIs used by frontend and mobile applications.
- 4 Support frontend and mobile teams with clean API design and smooth integration workflows.
- Infrastructure & Reliability
- 1 Work with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS to deploy and scale applications.
- 2 Improve server performance, reliability, logging, and operational visibility.
- 3 Contribute across the stack where needed, but with backend ownership as the primary focus.
- 4 Help maintain secure, stable, and observable production systems.
- Must-have qualifications
- 1 Two - Four years of experience building backend applications with Node.js and Express.
- 2 Practical experience with MongoDB schema design and query optimisation.
- 3 Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- 4 Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, or RDS.
- 5 Experience handling production debugging, server performance, and reliability issues.
- 6 Good understanding of secure coding practices and system design basics.
- 7 Strong communication and collaboration skills in a startup environment.
- Good to have
- 1 Experience with RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.
- 2 Familiarity with Cloudflare.
- 3 Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- 4 Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and production monitoring.
- 5 Familiarity with real-time data processing or sports analytics platforms.
