Overview
Application developer-Cloud fullstack at IBM Consulting, working in one of our FutureNow Centers delivering deep technical expertise to clients around the world.
Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Applications using microservices design patterns, integrating front-end, back-end, and middleware components
- Apply DevOps methodologies and tools for efficient development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based applications
- Collaborate with senior practitioners to design, build, and maintain cloud environments focusing on uptime, access, control, and network security using automation and configuration management tools
- Integrate multiple technologies including Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, and NoSQL/RDBMS databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred: Master's Degree)
- Exposure to developing and deploying cloud-based applications using microservices design patterns
- Experience with multi-layered application development and various technologies like Angular, React, Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, NoSQL/RDBMS databases
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools
Nice to have
- Cloud security knowledge including uptime, access, control, and network security using automation and configuration management tools
- Familiarity with integrating multiple technologies including Angular, React, CSS3, HTML5, Java, JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy, REST/SOA services, APIGEE, API Connect, NoSQL/RDBMS databases
- Exposure to various DevOps tools and methodologies
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred: Master's Degree)
