Overview
Azure Data Engineer role with weekend virtual drive. Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using Azure technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure Data Lake Storage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for data processing needs and design solutions that meet business needs
- Develop complex SQL queries to optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues in Azure Databricks
- Implement machine learning models using Python on Azure Synapse Analytics for predictive analytics tasks
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Skills in Azure Databricks, Datafactory, Pyspark, Python, Spark, SQL
- Experience with large-scale data pipelines and transformation processes
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics and predictive analytics models
- Strong understanding of database architecture and optimization
