Overview
Data Engineer with expertise in SQL focusing on designing and optimizing SQL PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexes, and stored procedures; integrating datasets from multiple sources such as Postgres, NoSQL, object storage, and data lakes.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize SQL PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexes, and stored procedures
- Integrate datasets from multiple sources including Postgres, NoSQL, object storage, and data lakes
- Collaborate with data engineers to design pipelines feeding into Snowflake or any data lake house
- Work with data engineering tools such as Spark with Scala, PySpark, Kafka, Flink, MinIO, Iceberg
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git Stash
Qualifications
- Experience in design and optimization of SQL PostgreSQL schemas, queries, indexes, and stored procedures
- Experience integrating datasets from several sources including Postgres, NoSQL, object storage, and data lakes
- Collaboration with data engineering teams to create pipelines to feed into Snowflake or any data lake house
Nice to have
- Deployment and managing pipelines and data lake integrations on OpenShift, AWS, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with deployment and management of pipelines in OpenShift, AWS, Kubernetes
