Overview
A Master Data Engineer is needed to create and maintain high-quality product and spare part information that supports power plant uptime and after-sales service offerings.
Responsibilities
- Perform efficient spare parts assortment, information compilation, and diagnostics
- Develop optimized spare part solutions for technical repairs based on component layouts
- Conduct internal technical reviews related to Spare Parts, Repair Methods, and Standard Times
- Work with PDM systems, BOMs, and SAP to maintain product data integrity
- Analyze and resolve engineering deviations and customer inquiries related to service parts
- Collaborate with global colleagues and cross-functional teams for data updates and communication
- Analyze and prepare power plant maintenance reports for auxiliary systems
- Understand maintenance intervals, condition monitoring, and data improvement for aux equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in product data, spare parts, or master data management (preferably in power/energy sector)
- Strong understanding of mechanical products, BOMs, and technical drawings
- Experience working with SAP, PDM systems, Microsoft Office tools
Nice to have
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English (global interaction)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
