Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer specializing in Microsoft BI, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics solutions within a global banking environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft BI solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, and data models.
- Build and support SSIS ETL processes, SSRS reports, and Power BI dashboards.
- Develop and maintain SSAS Tabular models using DAX and MDX.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and Product Managers to deliver business-focused solutions.
- Maintain high delivery quality through coding standards, reviews, and documentation.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, data, and reporting issues.
- Build POCs and propose innovative BI solutions.
- Automate recurring processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct peer reviews.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of IT experience with at least 6+ years in Microsoft BI technologies.
- Strong experience with SQL Server (2017/2022) and expertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with SSIS (ETL Development), SSRS (Reporting), Power BI, SSAS Tabular Models, DAX, and MDX.
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Historization.
- Familiarity with Agile and SDLC methodologies.
- Banking or financial services domain experience preferred.
- Strong data warehousing and reporting background required.
- Candidates with Azure DevOps and modern BI architecture experience will be prioritized.
