Overview
Software Engineer, Site Reliability (SRE) / Platform Engineer with 2+ years experience on multi-cloud platform using Kubernetes clusters and cloud-native technologies.
Responsibilities
- Architect Infrastructure using Python-based Pulumi
- Orchestrate at Scale by managing production Kubernetes clusters
- Implement Istio service mesh for secure, resilient communication
- Maintain and scale high-throughput data streaming infrastructure with Kafka and NATS Jetstream
- Own full observability stack (Loki, Tempo, Mimir)
- Contribute to multi-cloud vision building cloud-agnostic systems
- Manage complex network topologies including Site-to-Site VPNs and Direct Connect circuits
Qualifications
- 2-6 years in a DevOps, Platform or SRE role with a focus on production-grade systems
- Deep hands-on experience operating, scaling and troubleshooting Kubernetes in production
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation and infrastructure code development
- Proficiency in Pulumi or Terraform
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP)
- Experience implementing comprehensive monitoring, logging and tracing stacks in cloud-native environments
Nice to have
- Experience managing workloads across multiple cloud providers or on-prem/bare-metal environments
- Familiarity with managing database infrastructure (SQL, NoSQL or distributed stores)
- Deep understanding of VPCs, Transit Gateways, BGP and cloud-native networking security
- Prior experience with Istio, Kafka or NATS
