Overview
KDB+/Q Developer to work on a next-generation research and analytics platform for a leading global hedge fund. This is an opportunity to contribute to the infrastructure supporting quantitative research, trading, and portfolio management across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise high-performance KDB+/Q applications for research, analytics, and trading
- Develop scalable infrastructure to process and analyse real-time market data
- Partner closely with Quantitative Researchers, Traders, and Portfolio Managers to deliver business-critical technology
- Enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing data platforms
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the long-term evolution of the firm's research and data ecosystem
Qualifications
- Strong commercial experience developing with KDB+/Q
- Experience building high-performance data platforms and analytics systems
- Exposure to trading, financial markets, or real-time market data environments
- Understanding of scalable, low-latency architectures and distributed systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
