Overview
ML Engineer role based in San Francisco Bay Area. Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining features that integrate closely with CAD tools and support AI-driven workflows for hardware teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test software components
- Collaborate with product and design to refine requirements
- Improve system performance and reliability
- Participate in code reviews
- Contribute to architectural decisions
- Ensure the platform scales securely and efficiently
- Work closely with users to understand needs and translate feedback into improvements
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Experience building production-grade applications or tools, ideally in SaaS or engineering productivity platforms
- Familiarity with CAD, PLM, or hardware design workflows, or strong interest in learning these domains
- Practical experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (for example, Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar)
- Comfort with cloud-based environments, APIs, and integration with third-party tools
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document technical decisions
