Overview
Scale AI is hiring a Machine Learning Research Engineer to work on enterprise GenAI agents and post-training algorithms. This role focuses on training state-of-the-art models for deployment across client datasets.
Responsibilities
- Train state-of-the-art models developed internally or by the community
- Research cutting-edge algorithms to integrate into the training stack
- Build agents leveraging proprietary agent-building algorithms
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of building with LLMs in production environments
- Experience with post-training methods like RLHF/RLVR
- Algorithmic experience with PPO/GRPO techniques
- Publications in top conferences (NEURIPS, ICLR, ICML) within last two years
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice to have
- Active participation in open-source projects related to AI or machine learning
- Experience with complex agent systems and tools
- Familiarity with enterprise AI data challenges
Education
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
