Overview
Senior AI Engineer (LLMs, Agentic Systems & Applied AI) for a well-funded, product-focused AI company building production systems powered by frontier large language models. Opportunity to join a small, high calibre engineering team solving technically challenging problems across LLM infrastructure, agentic workflows, retrieval systems, model evaluation and scalable AI applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and deploy production AI systems that leverage the latest advances in large language models and agentic architectures
- Work across: Production LLM applications, Multi agent systems, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Tool calling and function orchestration, Model evaluation and benchmarking, Prompt optimisation, Inference pipelines, Backend services and APIs, AI platform architecture, Performance optimisation, latency reduction and scalability
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering and research teams to rapidly iterate on new capabilities and deliver production ready AI solutions
Qualifications
- Built AI products used in production
- Write clean, maintainable software
- Understand software engineering as well as machine learning
- Enjoy solving complex technical problems
- Stay current with developments across the modern AI ecosystem
- Take ownership from design through deployment
