Overview
Senior Software Engineer (AI/ML Platform) at Autodesk, focusing on designing scalable, efficient systems for AI/ML model serving and inference in a hybrid cloud architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AI/ML serving systems
- Manage hybrid cloud environments using on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Oversee deployment of AI/ML models into production with CI/CD pipelines
- Implement performance monitoring tools for system and model optimization
- Ensure compliance with data security standards and privacy practices
- Collaborate with researchers and data engineers to translate models into production-ready systems
- Research and integrate new technologies that enhance AI/ML capabilities
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in software development and engineering
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch
- Strong coding skills in Python
- Experience designing and managing hybrid cloud architectures
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Deep understanding of performance metrics and latency optimization techniques
Nice to have
- Cloud certifications from AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
- Familiarity with AI/ML monitoring tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, TensorBoard
Education
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
