Overview
Modern tech delivery & 'futurify' leadership as a Searce Lead FDS (‘Forward Deployed Solver’). You aren't just managing the board; you’re on the field, architecting scalable data platforms and building the robust engineering pipelines that fuel AI innovation.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design and implement foundational data infrastructure. You’ll build it, break it, and perfect it alongside your team.
- Lead the Squad: Mentor and manage a pod of Data Engineers and Architects.
- Client Stewardship: Act as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise clients.
- Enable Cloud & AI: Design and implement the data pipelines and structures that efficiently feed and empower Machine Learning and AI applications.
- Optimize Everything: Continuously fine-tune architectures for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 8+ Years of doing: Deep experience in Data Engineering and Architecture
- At least 2+ years in a lead or managerial capacity
- Proven production-grade data solutions on public cloud platforms (GCP experience is a massive plus)
- Experience building the data foundations specifically geared toward supporting AI initiatives
Nice to have
- Experience with Data Vault 2.0 and Dimensional Modelling (Kimball)
- Expert-level proficiency in dbt for data transformation
- Experience with GitHub versioning tooling
