Overview
Part of a major retail GCC in Chennai, working on cutting-edge use cases in Computer Vision and Agentic AI. Responsible for architecture roadmap of scalable ML platforms and end-to-end systems covering ML pipelines from ingestion to deployment monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the architecture roadmap for scalable, production-grade ML platforms
- Design and code highly scalable, machine learning applications processing large volumes of data
- Design end-to-end ML systems covering Data ingestion, Feature engineering pipelines, Model training & validation, Deployment & serving, Monitoring & retraining
- Design and productionize deep learning models including Computer Vision, NLP / LLM-based systems, and Recommender systems
- Design and maintain centralized feature stores with implementation of feature versioning, feature lineage, metadata tracking, data quality validation
Qualifications
- Strong background in Machine Learning with deep understanding of algorithms and modeling techniques
- 8+ years of overall software development experience with at least 5+ years of industry experience applying Machine Learning to concrete problems
- Great coding skills and strong software development experience with Big Data technologies & Machine Learning frameworks like SparkML, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
- Understanding of distributed systems, large scale engineering challenges
Nice to have
- Experience in NLP libraries like Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy
- MLOps practices and tooling (model training pipelines, monitoring, versioning)
- Knowledge of distributed systems and data engineering concepts
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
- Contributions to AI-related open-source projects or publications
