Overview
HRS is looking for a Data Engineer to join their Data and Analytics department in Chandigarh/Mohali. The role involves developing an innovative data landscape with advanced analytics solutions and real-time data platforms using modern technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop an innovative data landscape for driving the business with Analytical solutions up to real-time with state-of-the-art data & analytics technologies on AWS
- Design & Build pipelines with Continuous Delivery practices, to collect, normalize, index, integrate and publish data coming from multiple sources
- Orchestrate our cloud (AWS) resources, automatic scheduling, monitoring and performance reporting
- Continuously improve Analytics & Machine Learning workflow from experiment to release stage, by analyzing metrics of software and Machine Learning systems
- Build data platform tooling and capabilities that enable data analysts, scientists and engineers build and operate analytic workloads through self-service
- Develop an innovative data landscape for driving the business with Analytical solutions up to real-time with state-of-the-art technologies
- Create new data services in collaboration with product owners, peers, and other stakeholders
- Get your hands dirty in our AWS cloud-based environment and get things done with technologies like Spark, Hadoop, Kinesis or elasticsearch
- Build next generation data platforms, data services, data products, and tooling
Qualifications
- Understanding what it takes to design, build and maintain successful data platforms, services and products
- Hands-on experience in data extraction & integration and environment & deployment automation
- Experience in cloud engineering services using private and public cloud resources
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical engineers and management
- Fluency in English is a must
