Overview
Help develop and maintain the next generation of deployment tools across UBS Group, using Azure and Kubernetes to re-engineer CI/CD platform for 35,000 deployments. Work in an agile development team with global IT teams, participating in level 3 support.
Responsibilities
- Help develop and maintain DevCloudCICD Ansible Deployer for over 35,000 deployments
- Migrate users from legacy technologies to Ansible
- Design and develop next generation development tooling using Git Ops and Infrastructure As Code
- Work as part of an agile development team
- Collaborate with other global IT teams
- Perform level 3 support assisting production operations team in rollout and support-related matters
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in design, developing, monitoring and troubleshooting scalable, secure, fail-tolerant systems
- Applied solutions to cater for non-functional requirements including stability, manageability, scalability, capacity and performance
- Expert in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, Helm)
- Extensive experience navigating and understanding Windows, Linux OS and OS internals
- Unix / Windows command line tools knowledge
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as code tooling (e.g Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
- Experience programming in Go (Java, Python, Ruby) as a benefit
- Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD experience in automated environments (Gitlab a plus)
- Working SQL knowledge (Oracle, Postgres)
- Experience working with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to work as part of a global team
