Overview
Provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design, managing day-to-day operations of platforms, databases, middleware, and backup systems. Lead structural/architectural design according to system requirements for scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide support in architecture planning, migration & installation for new projects in own tower
- Lead the structural/ architectural design of platform/middleware/database/backup etc
- Conduct technology capacity planning by reviewing current and future requirements
- Utilize new features of underlying technologies to ensure smooth functioning
- Strategize & implement disaster recovery plans and create backup and recovery plans
- Manage day-to-day operations and troubleshoot any issues with RCA and fixes
- Plan for and manage upgradations, migration, maintenance, backup, installation and configuration functions
- Review technical performance of the tower and deploy ways to improve efficiency, fine tune performance and reduce challenges
- Develop shift roster for the team to ensure no disruption in the tower
- Create and update SOPs, DRMs, operations manuals, daily test plans, data architecture guidance etc.
- Provide weekly status reports to client leadership team and internal stakeholders
- Leverage technology to develop SIP through automation and other initiatives
Qualifications
- Experience of 5-8 years in Unix implementation and maintenance
