Overview

Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS and GCP to support enterprise applications. Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, and Google Cloud Build. Implement monitoring, logging, alerting solutions. Enforce best practices in security, compliance, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS and GCP for enterprise applications
• Ensure cloud resources are properly provisioned and optimized for cost, performance, and security
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Deployment Manager
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, and Google Cloud Build
• Automate application deployment processes across multiple cloud environments
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Google Stackdriver, and third-party tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack
• Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues, security breaches, and system failures providing timely solutions
• Set up dashboards and metrics to track application health and performance in both AWS and GCP
• Implement security best practices including access control, encryption, vulnerability assessments
• Work with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA)
• Automate security-related tasks such as patch management, firewall configurations, intrusion detection
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, Shell for infrastructure, deployment, monitoring
• Implement self-healing infrastructure using automation tools to ensure uptime and reliability
• Collaborate with developers, system administrators, IT teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment
• Create and maintain clear documentation on infrastructure architecture, CI/CD pipelines, cloud configurations, and DevOps processes
• Analyze cloud resource utilization and recommend cost-saving strategies (reserved instances, optimized scaling)
• Optimize cloud resource performance and reduce application latency

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms
• Strong hands-on experience designing and managing both AWS and GCP infrastructure services
• Proven expertise with automation using Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, Ansible
• CI/CD pipeline development experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GCP-native solutions
• Experience implementing monitoring & logging frameworks using Google Cloud Stackdriver, Prometheus, or similar tools
• Deep knowledge of cloud security best practices including IAM roles and policies, encryption, network security
• Disaster recovery planning, system reliability, fault tolerance design experience
