Overview
This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.
Responsibilities
- Participate in cloud migration and modernizing current data systems.
- Support data systems that serve hundreds of millions of real-time events a day.
- Maintain and craft early warning and analytics systems using groundbreaking big data technologies.
- Collaborate on building software that collects and queries data while also composing queries for investigation purposes.
- Analyze and provide data-supported recommendations to improve product performance and customer acquisition.
- Maintain regular communication with the project team and stakeholders, ensuring all parties have accurate and current information.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
- 2 years of Data Engineering experience using Python
- Basic knowledge of Big Data solutions such as Hadoop, Spark
- Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.
