Job description
Overview
Kiinara builds AI that fits the way people actually work ~ grounded in their domain, their data, and their day-to-day. We began in education, with a simple conviction: every student should walk into the AI age feeling powerful, not powerless.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across the Kiinara product suite ~ KiinaraOS, Pulse, and internal tooling.
- Design and implement APIs, background jobs, and data pipelines that stay reliable at scale.
- Work alongside designers to bring interfaces to life with precision and care.
- Take ownership of technical decisions ~ from architecture to database schema ~ and communicate your reasoning clearly.
- Review code, help set engineering standards, and raise the bar for the team around you.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and experience with a modern frontend framework (Vue, React, or similar).
- Solid backend fundamentals: REST APIs, relational databases, and server-side rendering.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure ~ AWS, GCP, or equivalent.
- A product-minded approach: you think about users, not just code.
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to break complex problems into shippable increments.
Benefits
- Competitive salary and meaningful equity
