Our story. Confession: it was an in-house project and GeekSquad didn't exist at the time. The project began with major challenges - acquiring quality resources, strenous interviews and months of notice period. No prize for guessing - the project was delayed. There were raised eye-brows all around us. However, the quality of the finished product turned the frown upside-down. Second phase was a different monster. Team occupancy, hiring, budget and timelines posed as primary concerns. Desperate times call for desperate measures. We decided to build and manage a remote team. Suddenly, the world was our canvas. We acquired the best talent in the industry in just a week's time. It worked like a charm. Post the stablization of the project, we released 60% of the team. Nobody complained. That ws our light bulb moment! We realised that every company needs experts and they need them now. Being able to release or hire them on-demand is a bonus. And thus, GeekSquad was born!

Overview
Job Title: Data Scientist
Responsibilities
- We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in advanced analytics and GenAI to support end-to-end data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable models, automate workflows, and drive business insights.
- Develop and optimize ML/GenAI models for business use cases
- Work with large datasets using PySpark and SQL
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design scalable solutions
- Generate actionable insights through data analysis and modeling
- Deploy, monitor, and improve model performance
Qualifications

- GenAI (prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, LLM integration)
- Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, ML/DL frameworks)
- SQL (advanced queries, optimization)
- PySpark (distributed data processing)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a hybrid setup
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3–8 years of relevant experience
