Overview
Azure Data Engineer (Contract) INDIA Fully Remote 6 Months Were hiring an experienced Azure Data Engineer to support a growing analytics platform and help scale modern data pipelines in a cloud-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines in Azure
- Implement data processing across Medallion architecture layers (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
- Optimize performance, reliability, and data quality across the platform
- Work closely with data modelers and analysts to deliver analytics-ready datasets
- Support downstream reporting and dashboarding use cases
Qualifications
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer in Azure environments
- Hands-on with tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Synapse or similar
- Solid SQL and data transformation experience
- Understanding of data modelling and working with BI teams
- Comfortable in a collaborative, remote team
- Contract: 6 months
- Location: Fully remote (INDIA)
- Level: Mid-Senior to Senior
