Job description
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong Python and Microsoft Azure expertise to join our engineering team building and scaling a PCI DSS v4.0–ready, microservices-based order processing platform.
Qualifications
- 6–9 years of professional software development experience, with strong full-stack capability.
- Deep hands-on experience with Python (3.x) for backend/microservice development.
- Solid experience building and deploying on Microsoft Azure, specifically:
- Azure Functions (serverless compute, VNet integration)
- Azure API Management
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Key Vault & Managed Identity
- Azure VNet, NSGs, Private Endpoints, NAT Gateway
- Understanding of secure application design: secrets management, least-privilege access, RBAC, TLS/encryption in transit.
- Familiarity with asynchronous/queue-based or timer-based processing patterns.
- Working knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (Application Insights, Log Analytics or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment practices.
- Exposure to e-commerce order management systems (Shopify, OMS platforms, or similar).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform on Azure).
- Front-end development experience (React/Angular/Vue) for full-stack contributions beyond APIs.
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-400, AZ-305) are a plus.
- Strong ownership mindset — comfortable working across the stack from database to API to deployment.
- Ability to work in a security- and compliance-conscious environment with attention to detail.
- Clear communicator, able to work with architects and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment balancing scalability, security, and cost.
