Think you have a high pressure job? Husky Injection Molding Systems makes high pressure injection molding equipment used by manufacturers to produce such plastic products as bottles, containers, computer housings, cell phones, auto parts, and medical devices (syringes and vials). It builds molding and hot runner systems, which distribute plastic resin to mold cavities, as well as part-handling robots that remove the plastic products from the mold, to sort and stack them. The PET (polyethylene terephthalate) packaging market accounts for more than half of Husky's sales. Husky -- the world's #1 equipment molding brand supplier -- was acquired in 2011 by Berkshire Partners and OMERS Private Equity from Onex Corp.
