- Opvia is looking for a curious, motivated, and technically strong AI Developer to join our growing team in Kolkata.
- We are looking for a fresher or early-career developer who has a solid understanding of software development across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and emerging AI technologies.
- The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys experimenting with different technologies, can quickly learn new tools and frameworks, and is excited about building real-world applications powered by AI.
- This is a hands-on role where you will work across different parts of the technology stack, contribute to product development, and explore how AI can be integrated into practical business solutions.
- 3-6 months of experience in software development, including internships, freelance work, or personal projects.
- Good understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Next.js.
- Familiarity with backend development using Python, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Basic understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, and modern development workflows.
- Some hands-on exposure to AI/LLMs, such as OpenAI APIs, Gemini, LangChain, AI agents, or similar tools, through projects or experimentation.
- Ability to understand and work across different software, frameworks, APIs, and technology stacks.
- Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and willingness to learn independently.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience building AI-powered applications, chatbots, agents, or automation workflows.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, or LLM integrations.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, deployment, and DevOps.
- Personal projects or a GitHub portfolio demonstrating practical development skills.
- Work on Real AI Applications: Get hands-on experience building and integrating AI into practical products and solutions.
- Exposure to Multiple Technologies: Work across frontend, backend, APIs, AI tools, and different software platforms rather than being restricted to a single technology.
- Learn by Building: Experiment with emerging technologies, solve real problems, and develop practical engineering skills.
- Early Ownership: Take responsibility for meaningful features and contribute directly to product development.
- Fast-Paced Learning Environment: Grow your technical expertise while working closely with a collaborative team.
- Career Growth: Build a strong foundation in full-stack development and applied AI engineering.
