Responsibilities
- Develop Secure Web applications while supporting day to day operations of our ECommerce platforms that runs on the Headless paradigm as well as storefront implementations
- Drive platform stability while enhancing system upgrades and optimizing deployment pipelines
- Collaborate with team members with diverse technical backgrounds to arrive at the right solution fix for day to day digital problems
- Conduct Code reviews and provide quality feedback while contributing to overall program maturity
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelors (Computer Science /Computer Applications / Maths / Engineering disciplines)
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience in Large scale platform level development and implementations
- Good understanding of Modern JS (ECMA6) frameworks - React/Next with Typescript
- Good understanding of serverless deployment landscapes and cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of Figma/other design tools and CMS systems
- Have experience with one or more eCommerce SAAS engines like Shopify, VTEX, Magento, Bloomreach, BigCommerce
- Working knowledge of GIT source code control and branching methodologies, debugging, performance monitoring, benchmarking, logging, and testing tools
- Testing tools like Karma/Jest/Jasmine/Cypress for writing end to end test cases
- Preferred/Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Knowledge of caching services like Redis
- Knowledge with Front end build processes
- Knowledge of any one other back end programming language, preferred, but not a must
- Knowledge of any one type of DB preferred but not required
- Familiarity with data privacy concepts (GDPR, PCI, HIPAA), cyber security, cookie policy, & accessibility standards
- Communication Skills : Experience with dealing with teams with diverse backgrounds and locations will be a plus
- Leadership Skills : Self starter and motivated to take ownership of tasks provided
- Project Management tools like : Visual Studio Team Services, JIRA, Asana or any other modern PM tools like Trello, ClickUP
