Developer, Data Analytics Hyderabad, India
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain LookML models (views, explores, dimensions, measures).
- Build and optimize Looker dashboards and Looks aligned to business requirements. Translate business requirements into scalable semantic data models.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across dashboards and explores.
- Implement best practices for LookML (reusability, naming standards, performance tuning).
- Work closely with data engineers and analysts to integrate new datasets.
- Optimize SQL queries and Looker performance (joins, PDTs, aggregate awareness).
- Support users by troubleshooting dashboard and data issues. Document data models, metrics definitions, and dashboard usage.
- Support UAT and production deployments. Follow version control practices (Git) for LookML development.
