View on GlassdoorPros: I’ve found McFadyen to be a great niche boutique IT company, specifically for those interested in e-commerce and marketplaces. They have a solid global presence and a 25-year history. What stands out most is the tenure—seeing so many people stay for 5+, 10+ years really proves that the work-life balance isn't just a selling point, it's a reality.
Cons: Domain concentration is primarily in retail and e-marketplaces. They are starting to branch out to b2b for manufacturing and pharma!

I recently completed the interview process with McFadyen for a Business Analyst position and I'm excited to be joining them in August. From the beginning, the experience was very positive. The recruiter was professional and courteous, promptly sharing the detailed job description when I asked, which helped me prepare well for the interviews. I went through two technical interviews followed by a meeting with the Hiring Manager. I was particularly impressed by the knowledge and experience of the interview panels, all of whom are senior to me. Their insights and expertise indicate that I'll have great opportunities to learn and grow in this role. After receiving an offer, I eagerly accepted and am now eagerly looking forward to starting with McFadyen in August.

I appreciate their thorough interview process aimed at ensuring quality hires. I've completed the necessary steps and submitted the required documents, and I'm eager to join McFadyen at the earliest opportunity.

HR gives you a call and checks your package. He asks about expected package and says that we could proceed only if you agree with a certain package. HR says that there would be 2 technical round and a final HR round. Once you agree, the interview process starts. 1. I passed 1st round of technical interview for 1hr which was through MS teams 2. I passed 2nd round of technical interview for 1hr which was through MS teams. Both the above two interviews are done through team in India. Then HR says that now Project lead from Argentina would like to check your technical experience. So, he says that once this 3rd round of technical is done, then its done. 3. I passed 3rd round of technical round too. HR now says that the offer roles out after every thursday discussion with management. But coming thursday is holiday, so we have to wait for next thursday for discussing with management. In the mean time, HR provided two big documents to mention about our experience and reference to whom they would call and check. Once all is done, again HR sends email with 40 questions about our experience from all past companies. Finally the day comes. HR says management says if we provide this certain package then what extra is this candidate is going to provide us............. HR says we need to conduct another technical round of interview. I got frustrated and denied. Later he goes on silence. After two days of enquiry, HR says management did not approve the package..... Seriously ................................ To whoever read all this, I request don't go for any interview with this company. This is a real waste of time.

After clearing all three technical rounds, I received a call from HR stating they would release the offer letter. However, after a week had passed, I inquired about the status and was informed by HR that the budget they had available did not align with my current compensation expectations. This led me to wonder why they wasted my time, considering that the package and expectations were discussed during the initial call.
