Overview
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is a global edge-to-cloud company advancing the way people live and work. The AI/ML Engineer role involves working in the HPE Operations team, which supports customers' digital transformation efforts through innovative IT services. This position focuses on technical systems management support and delivering detailed technical designs to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project
- Understanding company's technologies to provide technical systems management support or deliver part of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements
- Performing systems configurations, troubleshooting systems errors/problems, monitoring and/or testing systems performance
- Contributing to the design of technical solutions for customer environments
- Working under supervision of technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks
- Acting professionally with company customers
- Participating as part of a team and maintaining good relationships with team members and customers
- Understanding the company's strategy
- Being aware of knowledge tools and their application
- Participating in chosen technical community or profession, and regularly attending profession or community of interest events
Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of technical experience and an Associate of Arts/Science or equivalent degree (two year college program) in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, one additional year of relevant technical experience (2-4 years in total)
- Sufficient technical knowledge to assist with the completion of specific deliverables
- Able to communicate concepts with team and peers
- Able to produce basic documentation to required standards
- Demonstrates understanding of assigned discipline or technical area
Nice to have
- Fundamental technical knowledge in AI/ML
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
