Overview
Tata Projects has an open Conversational AI Intern position in Visakhapatnam for motivated freshers and final-year students. You will work on live chatbots and conversational interfaces projects and finish with something you can genuinely talk about in interviews.
Responsibilities
- Work on designing conversations that recover gracefully when the user says something the designer never imagined alongside the core team
- Use Conversational Design, LLM APIs, Intent Handling, Dialogue State, Python on live, production-facing problems
- Turn your work into clear documentation, notes or decks for reviewers
- Take part in reviews and act on the feedback you receive
- Collaborate across functions — engineering, product, design or business as the work demands
- Follow the team's quality, testing and documentation standards
- Track and report your own progress against an agreed plan
Qualifications

- Location: based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh or willing to work from there for the internship period

- Working hours: Monday to Friday, standard business hours worked remotely, with a fixed daily stand-up
- Duration: 6 months, with a certificate issued on successful completion

- Equipment: you will need your own laptop and a stable internet connection; software licences and tool access are provided by the company
- Bond: no bond and no service agreement is attached to this internship

- Also useful: Fallback & Hand-off, Evaluation, Analytics, Prompt Design, User Testing
- Soft skills: clear written and spoken English, ownership of your work, comfort asking questions, and the discipline to check your own work before you ship it
