Overview
Searce is an AI outcome engineering company and a modern technology consultancy that helps enterprises futurify their business with AI, cloud and data.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior Engineer you are the L3 backbone of the ATRE managed-service team. You resolve the complex incidents that L1/L2 cannot, find the root cause, and then automate the fix. You use AI tools and AIOps to work faster than manual operations allow, and you keep customer cloud and AI workloads secure and reliable.
- L3 ownership: Handle escalated Sev-1/Sev-2 incidents, drive them to resolution and own the follow-up.
- Root cause analysis: Run blameless post-incident reviews and implement long-term fixes that prevent recurrence.
- AI-led efficiency: Apply AI tools and AIOps to triage, correlate alerts, accelerate RCA and automate repeat work.
- Automation: Build reusable automation and runbooks in Terraform, Python or Bash to remove toil.
- Platform operations: Operate and secure Kubernetes (GKE) and cloud infrastructure, including patching, upgrades and DR drills.
- Observability: Maintain monitoring, alerting, SLIs and SLOs so issues surface before customers feel them.
- Security hygiene: Apply IAM, secrets management, network policy and vulnerability remediation across customer environments.
- Knowledge sharing: Document solutions and help L1/L2 engineers grow.
Qualifications
- Delivery experience: Hands-on production experience in SRE, DevOps or cloud operations, including real L3 incident handling.
- Technical depth: Strong in at least one hyperscaler (GCP preferred), Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code.
- Observability: Hands-on with Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK or similar.
- Scripting: Python or Bash for systems automation.
- AI-led efficiency: Practical experience using AI tools to improve SRE efficiency (AI-assisted runbooks, incident triage, RCA, automation) and/or AIOps platforms (e.g., BigPanda, Moogsoft, Dynatrace, Datadog), with measurable results such as lower MTTR, less toil or reduced alert noise.
- Work mode: Comfortable working from the office.
- Cloud certifications (e.g., Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure AZ-104/AZ-400)
- CKA / CKS
- Exposure to AI/LLM workload security
- On-call and 24x7 managed service experience
- Solver mindset: We hire solvers, not task-takers. You will be trusted to own problems end to end.
- Not a CAVEr, say no to HiPPO: We are not Citizens Against Virtually Everything, and the best idea wins over the highest-paid person's opinion.
- AI-native practice: ATRE is built around AI tools and AIOps from day one, so you build the future of managed services rather than inherit the past.
- Learning and growth: Partner-led certifications and exposure to Google Cloud, AWS, Databricks and Anthropic Claude ecosystems.
- Culture: HAPPIER values (humble, adaptable, positive, passionate, innovative, excellence, responsible).
