Financial Accountant I (Chennai)
Responsibilities
- You will take responsibility for finance and financial management deliverables, applying your skills to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Recording and reconciling financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles.
- Supporting accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and vendor management.
- Assisting with financial analysis in decision-making processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications
- You will bring relevant finance and financial management experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.
- CMA/ CA/ CPA Qualified (This is Must)
- 1+ years of experience in accounting or financial roles (internship experience considered).
- Should have experience in Month End Closures, Payroll postings, Accruals, Fixed Assets, Prepayments
- Experience in Balance Sheet Reconcilation
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%)
