Overview
Five9 is a leading provider of cloud contact center software, bringing the power of cloud innovation to customers worldwide. The DevOps Engineer would be an active member within the Voice Application Services team, responsible for providing automation and test support for SW releases.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows across distributed systems
- Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and high system reliability
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve availability and scalability
- Leverage AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and code quality
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles (preferably in telecom, SaaS, or service provider environments)
- Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform, including writing and maintaining reusable modules
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux systems, including CLI-based administration and shell scripting
- Demonstrated understanding of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code or GitHub Copilot)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
