Battery Smart is India’s largest and fastest-growing battery-swapping network for electric two- and three-wheelers. Founded in 2019 by IIT Kanpur alumni Pulkit Khurana and Siddharth Sikka, our mission is to make electric mobility accessible, affordable, and sustainable for everyone. We are transforming the EV ecosystem through our Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, enabling EV drivers to swap depleted batteries for fully charged ones in under two minutes. Since launching our first battery swapping station in 2020, Battery Smart has grown into a nationwide network powering the journeys of over 1 lakh EV drivers every daythrough 1,600+ battery swapping stations across multiple cities. Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using **Node.js, React.js, and TypeScript**.
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces and scalable backend services.
- Design and optimize relational databases such as **MySQL** or **PostgreSQL**.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Deploy and manage applications on **AWS, GCP, or Azure**.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth).
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure application reliability.

Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with relational databases (**MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server**).
- Understanding of **Redux**, REST APIs, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of **Docker** and **Kubernetes**.
- Familiarity with **Agile/Scrum** methodologies.
- Understanding of web application security best practices.
- Product based startup experienced candidates will be preferred.
