I attended a walk-in interview for a Java Engineer role. I reached the venue around 3:00 PM, but my interview started at approximately 5:30 PM after a long wait. The interview focused on Java coding and core concepts. I was asked to solve a coding problem to print pairs in the form (x, 2x) from an array, write a Java Streams program to filter and transform strings, and explain the concept of daemon threads. The interview ended shortly after these questions, with limited discussion about my project experience or previous work. The process felt rushed, and I would have appreciated more opportunity to demonstrate my problem-solving skills and practical experience.

They called the candidates to schedule the virtual interview in their office premises, first round was some assessment in their platform by giving 3 sql questions and 3 java coding questions I was able to solve the sql questions due to their sample outputs and sample inputs are mentioned in detail But coming to java coding questions which was actually easy to medium level DSA questions and they have giving only 7 minutes duration for each questions, without providing the sample inputs and outputs , due to this half of the time went to understanding the question, and not able to solve any java questions due to their platform negligence of not providing the sample inputs and outputs I have clearly mentioned this feedback to them due to this i was not got shortlisted

2 rounds, one technical, asked basic python and basic SQL, nothing tough. No formal HR interview, only a 5 min phone call and got offered th role towards the end of the call.

I joined as fresher & for fresher this was this interview process: 2 Rounds of technical f2f interview, first round based on sql queries, java questions, 2nd round based on resume and some more techincal questoins.
