Pros: Brilliant colleagues Work independence Work life balance Respect from fellow colleagues
Cons: Work from home sometime can get inside the bone and you will feel detached from whats happening
View on GlassdoorPros: One thing that consistently stood out to me was how easily teams work together. Engineering, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and other departments share information openly and work toward common goals instead of operating independently. That collaboration creates a positive experience for both employees and customers.
Cons: Aligning schedules across global teams occasionally results in early morning or late evening meetings.
View on GlassdoorPros: The combination of talented colleagues, modern technology, flexible work arrangements, and supportive leadership makes this an excellent place to grow professionally. I've been able to expand both my technical and interpersonal skills while contributing to projects that have visible business impact. The environment rewards curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning.
Cons: As with many fast-growing companies, priorities occasionally evolve, so employees need to be comfortable adapting to change.
View on GlassdoorPros: 1. Very collaborative and supportive team culture. 2. There are good opportunities to grow based on your career aspirations and interests, especially within the team I’m part of. 3. Employee feedback and opinions are genuinely heard and considered. 4. The company is constantly innovating and evolving its products to stay aligned with changing market needs.
Cons: 1. It’s a very fast-paced environment that requires frequent context switching and adaptability as business and industry needs evolve. Roles and responsibilities can change over time, which can be both challenging and a learning opportunity depending on individual preferences. 2. As the company continues to scale, cross-functional collaboration can sometimes become more complex. That said, there are ongoing efforts to improve processes and keep teams aligned, while some employee-centric policies have naturally changed as the organization has grown.
View on GlassdoorPros: Massive Technical Exposure: You aren't just stuck working on one framework. Because BrowserStack's clients use varied tech stacks, you get hands-on exposure to almost every testing framework, CI/CD pipeline, and programming language out there. Top-Tier Clients: You get to interact with and solve problems for engineering, QA, and DevOps leaders from some of the biggest global tech companies. It is fantastic for networking and learning how the best engineering teams operate. High Business Impact: As a CE, you are directly responsible for demonstrating product value and unblocking technical hurdles for enterprise accounts. You can easily see how your work directly impacts company revenue and customer retention. Great Product: It is much easier to be a Customer Engineer when you are advocating for a market-leading product that developers actually want and need to use.
Cons: The "Information Firehose" Challenge: Because your customers use every technology under the sun (Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Jenkins, etc.), you are forced to constantly learn new tools. If you don't like continuous, rapid technical learning, you will struggle. No Faking It: Your clients are highly intelligent QA Automation Engineers and DevOps Architects. You cannot just read off a script; you have to truly know your stuff and keep your technical skills razor-sharp to earn their respect.

Interview process consisted of 5 rounds. HR were very supportive throughout the process. Got rejected after the last HR round. How would you find a word in a 5 gb file? Coding question from bit manipulation.
Sample questions
The company took 7 rounds of my interview and then they rejected me. In fact their salary was also very unclear and it was during the negotiation that they understood that probably someone local from Maharashtra would cost them less. Although remote, the company asked me to relocate to the place where this position was open and I accordingly shared my salary expectation, keeping in mind the cost of living of that particular metropolitan. They exhausted me completely, and the assignment given by them was quite lengthy and tough. At the end they rejected me, and as a feedback they just told me "Its not you, its us". Just slow caps for the entire recruiting team.
