Cons: Your time here highly depends on who your manager is When the upper management changes, the company quickly pivots direction. That has happened more frequently in the past few years.
View on GlassdoorPros: 1) I learned a lot about cybersecurity practices and products. 2) RnD projects are the ones where you would enjoy the most. 3) Technical Managers are very supportive and helpful. 4) HRs are employee-centric and keep transparency about every decision taken. 5) Increments and bonus payments are well above industry standard, and good work is always appreciated. 6) You can be honest with your team lead about the work assigned. Inter-team switch is also possible.
Cons: 1) Learning curve is steep, and you might need to be patient to get used to the work. But it's very common in the cybersecurity domain, and I have seen that substantial training time is given to new employees.

View on GlassdoorPros: In the past few years, Forcepoint has grown tremendously with acquisition of various products. In the wide field of data security, it has shifted the focus to DLP. We have a real good set of products focusing on DLP like DLP (cloud/on-prem), DSPM etc and it should continue. There are different engineering teams focusing on different products along with a single SRE team. With an expanding set of products, the SRE team is growing as well and laying the foundation for SRE practices, including production readiness, reliability, observability etc. It’s an evolving effort with plenty of opportunity for further improvement. Great Company culture. No blame game. Managers are very supportive. Based on your location, you can work hybrid or remote which is rare these days.
Cons: There is room to improve how salaries are determined, with more emphasis on skills and contributions rather than solely on designations.
