Challenging workload and slow salary growth at TCS

Pros: Professional Summary I am a hardworking, responsible, and motivated graduate with good computer knowledge and data entry skills. I have knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, typing, email handling, and basic computer operations. I am a quick learner with good communication and problem-solving skills. I am looking for an opportunity at TCS where I can use my skills, learn new technologies, and contribute to the organization’s growth. I am comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Cons: Agar aap TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) ke “Cons” yani disadvantages likhna chahte hain, to ye points use kar sakte hain: 1. Work pressure – Kuch projects mein workload aur deadlines zyada ho sakti hain. 2. Salary growth – Fresher level par salary growth kuch competitors ke comparison mein slow ho sakti hai. 3. Long working hours – Project aur client requirements ke according working hours badh sakte hain. 4. Promotion process – Promotion aur appraisal mein competition zyada hota hai. 5. Project dependency – Career experience kaafi had tak assigned project aur technology par depend karta hai. 6. Work location – Kabhi-kabhi employee ko preferred location ke bahar project mil sakta hai. 7. Repetitive work – Kuch roles mein kaam repetitive ho sakta hai, especially entry-level positions par. Short answer: TCS ek badi aur reputed IT company hai, lekin workload, project dependency, slow salary growth aur relocation jaise challenges kuch employees ko face karne pad sakte hain.

Supportive culture, but challenging project allocations for freshers

Pros: nice working culture and atmospehere to work in this company.

Cons: as a freshers it is difficult to get a proper project where you can develope your skill, mostly you will be allocated to an support based project and after that project ends, it is expected from you to directly go for technical skilled required projects, which is okay for IT and CSE passed out students but not as easy from studrom differnt not it background.

Great entry point but strict office attendance policy

Pros: Great entry point into the IT industry, especially for freshers and early-career professionals. Opportunities to work on interesting projects and gain hands-on experience. Learning and growth can be significant if you are proactive, enthusiastic, and have supportive management.

Cons: Strict work-from-office policy with five days of mandatory office attendance. No hybrid work option. Formal dress code is enforced quite strictly, which may feel restrictive compared to many modern IT workplaces.
