Sample questions
**Very Disappointing Interview and Hiring Experience** I had a very disappointing experience with the interview and hiring process at Ness Technologies. I interviewed for the **Senior Java Engineer** position and successfully completed two technical rounds. During the process, the hiring manager/Team Lead, **Mahesh**, discussed my technical skills, notice period, and joining timeline. I clearly informed the team that I could join within **10–15 days**, and the discussions were positive. After clearing the technical rounds, I had an HR discussion with **Janhavi**. However, despite completing all the required interviews and discussions, I never received an offer letter. I was first informed that the position was **on hold**, and later told that the position had already been **filled**. My concern is simple: if the company was not planning to proceed with my candidature or was uncertain about the position, why conduct multiple interview rounds and HR discussions? Candidates invest a significant amount of time, effort, and preparation in these interviews. The least they deserve is transparent and timely communication. I would also advise other candidates **not to rely on verbal assurances or false hope until you have a written offer letter in hand**. Please do not resign from your current job or reject other offers based solely on positive discussions or verbal commitments. An offer should only be considered confirmed once the official offer letter has been issued. I understand that business requirements can change, but professionalism and clear communication are equally important. I hope Ness Technologies improves its hiring process and treats candidates' time and expectations with greater respect.
Sample questions
I was very disappointed by how the interview was conducted and how the interviewer showed up. The most frustrating part was that they asked me to turn on my camera, but the interviewers kept theirs turned off.
I applied for the role through LinkedIn. After my profile was shortlisted, I received an email from the HR team with a few basic screening questions regarding my experience, notice period, and expected salary. The interview process then consisted of three stages: a technical interview with the Head of Department, an assessment round, and a final discussion with the CMO.
